Help create opportunity for an underrepresented student interested in pursuing a career in finance. And, your gift will be doubled.
Tufts young alumni are coming together to raise $12,500, that will be matched, dollar for dollar, to create a $25,000 one-year term scholarship for a Tufts student pursuing a career in finance.
Continuing to diversify the finance field is critical to creating a workplace reflective of society and breaking down barriers for historically marginalized groups. As recent graduates, we are working towards increased diversity and inclusion and want to help a Tufts student have the opportunity to join us.
Thanks to the COVID-19 Financial Aid Match every dollar we give will be matched. We’re setting a floor goal of $12,500 and hope we can raise more. Let’s show our Jumbo pride and give to create a more diverse workplace.
What happens after I give?
Once we reach $12,500, our collective generosity will be matched and create a one-year, named term scholarship that will be awarded next fall. We’ll look forward to sharing more information about the student who receives the scholarship next year.
How are scholarships awarded?
All undergraduate financial aid is awarded on a need basis. Tufts is committed to meeting 100% of the demonstrated need of every student it admits.
What if we don’t hit $12,500?
We will. But if we don’t, every dollar raised will still go to financial aid, it just won’t be a specific scholarship.
Is it possible to give through a Donor Advised Fund?
Absolutely. If you'd like to give through a Donor Advised Fund, please contact Lindsay.Cullen@tufts.edu.
How can I help?
So glad you asked. You can make a gift today and e-mail Lindsay.Cullen@tufts.edu to be added to the volunteer list for this important project.
