Hardship Fund for Medical, PH, and PD Students
Unprecedented changes in the school’s academic programs and day-to-day life have resulted in unforeseen circumstances for medical, public health, and professional degree students. Circumstances like these can be difficult to overcome without support.
In response to the entry of COVID-19 into our community, beginning March 23, academic instruction will be online with rare exceptions, the majority of students have been asked to move out of Posner Hall, and all travel for the University has been suspended through April 30 – including travel for global health programs.
Your gift will help support students experiencing unexpected financial hardship, whether that be related to their accommodation, travel, or disruptions to employment. Students may also have unexpected expenses related to the technology needed to move to a virtual learning environment or commuting costs.
As a member of the Tufts medicine and public health community, you know more than most that we are at our best when we work together, give, and support each other in times of need.
Thank you for all you do for our students and our community.
