Thank you! We made it!

June 28, 2019

Thanks to you, we have successfully met our goal and raised $5140.  We have enough funds to sustain the use of  the Natakallam platform in our colloquial classes for 4 semesters and fund 4 guest speakers for the intermediate Arabic classes from the Refugee Voices Program in the spring 2020 semester.  On behalf of the Arabic Program, especially all the students who will benefit from authentic language exchanges, please accept our gratitude.  You can stay posted on our Program's activities and news by visiting our social media page

June 20th is World Refugee Day

June 20, 2019

It is befitting that on #WorldRefugeeDay, we have reached our crowdfunding goal!! We are grateful for the support and generosity of the 78 wonderful donors who have ensured we can offer Natakallam to future students for at least the next few semesters.

There is still time to donate! Each dollar above our goal means we can extend the use of the NaTakallam platform to more Arabic learners and help provide refugees a way to earn an income in countries they are often barred from any employment.

In the words of the UNHCR chief Filippo Grandi: "Solidarity with those driven into exile is a universal value. When we turn our backs on refugees, the world is a darker place"
